The 46th International Contemporary Art Fair will conclude on Sunday in central Paris.

Lifestyles takes you there.

The four-day event has enjoyed participation from various art galleries across the globe.

Over 80,000 people are expected to have visited the fair.

CEDRIC VILLANI, French deputy (Essonne) and candidate for mayor of Paris

"The FIAC is an event of which Paris is so proud in which the whole world converges and comes to share emotion, tendencies, dreams. It is also an opportunity to discover new artists, new galleries, meet and exchange."

This year's event drew 199 galleries from 29 countries, including two newcomers Cote d'Ivoire and Iran.

GEORGES-PHILIPPE VALLOIS, Owner of the Vallois gallery

"For a French gallery it is particularly important to be here since before having an international reputation, this show had a national reputation. It is, therefore, the main French salon. And as such a French gallery must try to participate. Obviously there is an extremely rigorous selection. There are also other salons that were created parallel to the FIAC as Art-Paris. But the FIAC has a much more international status. It is probably today one of the five biggest fairs in the world."
