800 disabled students display their art works in Istanbul

 A total of 800 disabled students are putting their art works on show in Istanbul.

Hailing from special schools across Istanbul, students created around 1,000 art pieces for 37 separate projects designed for an exhibition at the Taksim Republic Art Gallery.
A lot of them suffer from autism, Down syndrome and other forms of mental diseases.
According to the official description of the art show, it "aims at increasing their self-confidence and giving them the happiness of being able to do something, as well as enabling them to share similar feelings with others".
The exhibition runs until Thursday.
