New York has celebrated one of America's most famous holiday traditions, the 93rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Take a look.
Spectators from all over the United States took to the streets of New York on Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving with floats, marching bands and giant balloons. 16 balloons depicted famous characters like Snoopy, Goku, Pikachu, Ronald McDonald and Jett from Super Wings.
"This is my first time to the parade. I’ve been dreaming about it since I was a child. So it’s the dream come true, to get to come to the parade for the very first time. We were right at the start of the parade. My family was here with me. Daughter, son, my husband. We were excited. This is the happiest Thanksgiving ever. Happy Thanksgiving!"
"I just grow up watching it every Thanksgiving on TV. So really excited to watch it in person. I’m so excited they are going to fly the balloons. The big floats. So excited."
This year's parade had around 8,000 participants and at least three million people along the parade's 2.5 miles' long route lined up to cheer them on.
