Cases top 100 in US State of New York

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in New York State has soared to over 100. 
Governor Andrew Cuomo said the number of confirmed infections in New York State stood at 105 on Sunday, or 16 more than the day before,when the Governor declared a state of emergency over the epidemic outbreak. 
Cuomo also called on the U.S. federal government to expedite their approval of private labs and automated and manual testing to expand New York State's testing capacity.
According to the state's health authorities, 93 of the confirmed cases are outside of New York City. 
Meanwhile, according to media reports, a U.S. cruise ship linked to a cluster of COVID-19 cases will dock on Monday in Oakland, a California port near its original destination San Francisco. 
The ship Grand Princess with more than 3,500 people aboard had been idling after being forbidden to return to San Francisco. 
As of Friday, 21 crew members and passengers aboard the vessel on a previous voyage had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 
Reports said the passengers' disembarkment is expected to take several days.
