As China is in the final year in its bid to wipe out poverty, rural areas around the country are pushing forward poverty-relief while combating the COVID-19 epidemic. Our reporter went to a county in northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to find out more.

This is a poverty-relief workshop in Guangrong village of Helan county.
Villagers are busy practicing skills for sewing or embroidering.
