Chinese vaccines help with global fight against COVID-19

The vaccination campaign has been launched around the world. 

And China has been racing to help countries fight the pandemic with home-developed COVID-19 vaccines, honoring its commitment to making vaccines a global public good once available.
According to Chile's Health Ministry, the country has vaccinated some 2.39 million people against COVID-19 two weeks after launching a mass vaccination campaign.
The health ministry said the vast majority used a vaccine developed by Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac.
The nationwide campaign began with the arrival of two shipments of Sinovac vaccines in January, which will continue to ship doses to Chile over the coming weeks.
On Tuesday, Morocco received the second batch of China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the ministry of health, the batch of 500,000 doses will be dispatched to vaccination centers across the North African country.
As of Monday, over 1.7 million people had been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Morocco.
The Thai Deputy Prime Minister on Wednesday reassured the delivery of Sinovac vaccines from China to Thailand, beginning next week.
The Sinovac vaccines will be the first COVID-19 vaccines administered in Thailand.
